I wish to introduce you to a problem that would be of immense pain and aching of heart to me and I decided I would write to you about 50,000 forgotten children. A large number to be forgotten about one might think, however that is the case. I would like to acquaint you with some 2000 abused and abandoned children that live on the streets of Kathmandu, Nepal. These children are the result of poverty, family violation and 10 years of war that ravaged the Nepalese countryside. Family units destroyed and the infrastructure of village life destroyed, the children turned to the cities to survive. UNICEF estimates 35,000 and the Nepalese think about 50,000.
These kids are non-people! They are subjected to three major areas of concern: Abusive treatment by older children, adults, and even the police. Child labor: Children as young as three are working in mines and at rag picking. It is estimated that of Nepal's 2 million children almost 1 million work in sub-human conditions across the country. Health concerns: To escape the lack of food, the sub-human conditions in which they live, and their treatment by most of society these kids turn to sniffing glue, and smoked and injected drugs. HIV/AIDS will become a terrible avenger as these children are almost completely unaware of the disease and how it is spread. 90% are boys and the 10% that are girls are quickly pulled from the streets and placed in houses of prostitution in Northern India and Nepal.
A group of concerned Nepalese have formed an organization called Protego-Nepal. It is registered as a non-profit in Nepal. As a first step we are trying to establish a self-sustaining safe house in Kathmandu. We would like to start with 10 boys and work up to about 25. We have a project paper and are looking for funding.

and finding the lost.we also also help children who are orphans that lost their
parents during the war back home.we help them to know the word of God and to be strong in him.

in doing God's work.it would be nice to be friends.if you could be helping to our needed Orphans who have no food to eat and cannot go to school.
