Unforgettable: ... When I first SAW a Blog by my Friend Eric Standlee, searched for it on google, and found it at Scribd,... Featured it at "GodSpeed Great Commission" ning: godspeed247.ning.com ... and that's just a beginning: Learned about iPaper, ... New-Media, budurl.com/BigTwitter, SearchMeNow Don’t miss the boat. Remember that we all are in the same boat. Plan ahead. It was not raining when NOAH built the ark. Stay fit when you are 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something big

Psa 150:1 Let the Lord be praised. Give praise to God in his holy place: give him praise in the heaven of his power.
Psa 150:2 Give him praise for his acts of power: give him praise in the measure of his great strength.
Psa 150:3 Give him praise with the sound of the horn: give him praise with corded instruments of music.
Psa 150:4 Give him praise with instruments of brass and in the dance: give him praise with horns and corded instruments.
Psa 150:5 Give him praise with the loud brass: give him praise with the high-sounding brass.
Psa 150:6 Let everything which has breath give praise to the Lord. Let the Lord be praised.
You Lord have given me gladness, Lord; help me to make others glad, and pass on to them the comfort wherewith You have comforted me. At whatever cost, may I have fellowship with You in Your redemptive purpose and ministry. AMEN.

NIV When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
KJV Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
In James 4 the author, James, is specifically speaking about prayers seeking our own worldly gain and not God's glory.
Prayer is a blessing to each of us -- the constant ability to commune with the Almighty. When we go to God in prayer, it's important to understand that God knows what's best for us. We may not understand now or in this lifetime, but He does.
Our ultimate goal and privilege is to bring glory to God in our lives. James is asking us to look into our hearts and submit ourselves and our prayers to Christ and not our own selfish desires.
Look into your own life and examine the heart of your prayers. To God be the glory.
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
Luke 16:10 (NIV)
